Flatout: Head On

Crash your car through that burning ring of fire

The Flatout series has always been about fun and destruction, and this PSP edition is faithful to its elder versions. It is jam packed with a carnage mode with more than 36 quick-play challenges, 9 Demolition Derby arenas and 12 different Ragdoll events. It’s fast-paced, fun and just what the PSP has been asking for.

The Derby is basically drive around and smash up as many of your opponents as you can, and by the end of the race you will never have seen so much debris on a track in all your life — even more than the recent Melbourne F1 race.

The stunt stuff is great fun as is crashing your vehicle. Watching your driver fly through the windscreen never seems to get boring. The mini-games such as bowling or darts are brilliant as you try to make your ragdoll driver aim for just where you want.

The career mode will keep you coming back for more with this game, as it just keeps on giving with more than 100 events over 27 cups. Flatout: Head On has a fun blend of driving and crashing. It will keep you entertained for a long time and is a perfect little nugget of a game for a handheld.
