Wild garlic

What Tall stemmed with white bell-shaped flowers, wild garlic is the supermodel of the garlic world. That said, she's none too fussy about where she grows, and has been described by many as a weed. We'd hold it against her, if she weren't so darned good in the kitchen.
Originally from the Eastern Mediterranean, wild garlic is valued for its leaves as opposed to its bulb.
How Mix the delicate garlic-tasting leaves through salads, soups and other mains. To really tart it up though, serve the flowers fritter-style in a light tempura.
