Abdul Rahman Sweets

Abdul Rahman serves up sticky sweets and if you can get him to smile, all the sweeter

Abdul Rahman Sweets

The streets of Lakemba are littered with Lebanese sweet shops but for the real sticky deal, head to Nabil Abdul Rahman's joint where you'll get a world of honey/nutty/buttery treats like lady's fingers, baklava and sugared almonds.

It's a fairly modest fit out (read: bare walls besides the cabinet holding the sweets) and service can be hard to get if it's 12.30 on a Friday afternoon (everyone goes to pray for half an hour at this time) but it's well worth the wait and great value.

Abdul Rahman Sweets 158 Haldon St Lakemba, 2195. (02 9758 3161)
