Car Stereo Wars - For Your Comfort and Safety
Greg Records

This Melbourne quintet first came to notice with the superb single ‘Radio Edit' last year - why people were buying Silversun Pickups when there was an equally perfect pop band just over the border was beyond me - and now they've finally finished work on their full length debut; and if it's not the pop masterpiece that might have been anticipated, that's only because it's rather more sprawling and ambitious than their single would suggest.
That's primarily because much of the record hints at the band's chillout origins (they were briefly signed to Ministry Of Sound, as it happens), meaning that there are loads of languid grooves on offer (‘Come To Nothing', ‘Down', ‘Alone' etc) - but really, ‘Radio Edit' is what you really need this for.
And you need it a lot.
