Break a world record

Children at schools throughout Australia will join forces to break the world skipping record as part of Jump Rope For Heart 25th birthday celebrations

Since 1983, more than eight million children have participated in the Jump Rope For Heart program to promoting health and fun, and raised over $60 million for the Heart Foundation. This year, with the support of the Cartoon Network and Aussie swimming stars Michael Klim and Jessica Schipper, more than 30,000 children, along with teachers and families are expected to take part in the Guinness World Record attempt.

It's not too late to register for this exciting and worthy event. Visit the Heart Foundation website today and your school will receive a Jump Rope For Heart resource kit with Heart Foundation skipping ropes, teacher's manual and CD, posters and sponsorship forms. Participating schools can also benefit from online fundraising support when they contribute to the Heart Foundation's target of $1.5 million this year.

The Jump Rope For Heart World Record Attempt will take place at 11.30am this Friday 9 May throughout Australia. For information on how to participate or support this event, visit www.heartfoundation.org.au or www.cartoonnetwork.com.au
