Best UNSW bars
If you are studying (or teaching) down at UNSW, where are the best places to get your neck oiled?

The Regent Hotel
If you're after a dirt-cheap steak, great atmosphere and a boogie around a jukebox, then the Regent is the place to be. The ‘rege', as coined by the locals, serves the most delicious food around and the friendly staff will make your evening most enjoyable, any night of the week.
416-418 Anzac Parade Kingsford 2032. (02 9663 2248)
UNSW Unibar
For a hard day at the office, treat yourself to a round of drinks at the unibar. Make your day brighter at the Happy bar, where happy hour runs every night of the week. Enjoy live music various days of the week, or get your groove on with some jazz in the beer garden.
Anzac Parade, UNSW Kensington campus, 2052. (9385 7630)
Churchills
For fans of racing and every sport under the sun, Churchills Sports bar is where it's at. With $3 Bundies and myriad TV screens, ‘Churchies' is the ideal venue to get swept up in the sporting atmosphere.
532 Anzac Pde, Kingsford 2032. (02 9663 3648)
The Doncaster
A cheeky beverage or two accompanied with a cook-it-yourself T-bone provides the perfect wind down after a day in the books.
268 Anzac Pde, Kensington 2033. (02 9313 7074)
The Royal Hotel
For classy students who don't mind the company of ‘after work' drinkers, the Royal offers a mean drop - however, it's a tad pricier than other watering holes about the area.
2 Perouse Rd, Randwick 2031. (02 9399 3006)
