House in Focus - Sydney Opera House Photography Competition
Capture the shifting sails of Australia's most iconic building on camera and you could win an amazing prize, including a commission to shoot for Time Out. Get shooting!

Let us not speak falsely. We've all seen pictures of the Opera House. It's been shot more times than Fifty Cent.
But there are new angles, new ways of shooting the grand old lady of Sydney. Why not enter one of them into the House in Focus competition? The winner of the best photograph of the Opera House will...
- Have their winning photo displayed on a large scale canvas at the Opera House throughout September
- Receive a fancypants HP computer worth $2,000
- Best of all, be offered a commission from Time Out Sydney to shoot a photographic essay for publication in the magazine and on our website.
Voting is open to you, the public, to decide on the top ten. From these finalists, the overall winner will be selected by our judging panel - architect Jan Utzon, son of Sydney Opera House architect Jørn, photographer Eric Sierens, director of Max Dupain and Associates and Michael Mendenhall of HP.
Closing date for entries is 30 July so make it snappy. Up to five entries per person can be submitted and you've got to do it electronically via the Sydney Opera House website
