The Magazine
Time Out Sydney: The Team
Editor-in-Chief: Angus Fontaine - A multiple award-winning writer across newspapers, magazines and the web and ex-editor of GQ Australia, Inside Cricket, Ralph, and Beer & Brewer, Fontaine hits the TOS editor's hot seat fresh from writing and hosting Discovery's top-rating travel show Five Star Insider.
Deputy Editor: Dan Rookwood - Famed in all four corners for his writing across sport, food, fashion and news, Dan is a decorated hack par excellence, having written for Good Weekend, GQ, and Alpha, edited sections for The Observer and Men's Health and won a BAFTA for his work with The Guardian.
Associate Editor: Sarah Norris - A music industry doyenne and
former big chief running bear at Sydney's high-circulating street mag
Drum Media (until TOS made her an offer she couldn't refuse), Sarah has
written across fields as disparate as property, finance and film and
excelled and won awards in each.
Film & TV Editor: Ruth Hessey - Writer. Director. Actress. Editor. Bon vivant. Ruth Hessey is every woman - ex-chief TV critic for the Sydney Morning Herald, founding editor of Australian Arts Review and, now with TOS, revered as Australia's most respected film reviewer. No wonder Russell Crowe is scared of her.
Food & Drink Editor: Myf Rigby - Formerly head chef at the Sydney Seafood School, Myf bit down hard on Time Out's hook like the esteemed foodie she is. Friendly with providores, feared by restauranteurs and confidante of kitchen warriors, Miss Rigby is a woman with fingers (and tongue) in every pie in town.
Music & Nightlife Editor: Andrew P Street - as the former music editor of Adelaide’s dB Magazine and Associate Editor at Sydney’s The Drum Media, as well as contributing to just about every music magazine in the country, Andrew has spent far too much of his life standing too close to PA speakers, flipping through record store racks and arguing about whether their new stuff is actually as good as their old stuff
Chief Photographer: Daniel Boud - Acclaimed snapper of the stars, Mr. Boud is a photographer and conceptual artist with an unsurpassed eye for what makes Sydney tick. Off-road, side-of-stage, on the street or in the shadows, Dan lurks with a lens and an instinct for the moment that leaves you breathless.
Picture Editor: Vashti Cooper - Manning the picture desk at Australian Consolidated Press these past two years, Vashti jousted with photographers, studios and agencies from all four corners of the earth but better yet, developed an eye for stunning images within four corners of a frame, a skill innate on TOS.
